Attendance, refund and cancellation policies refer to virtual
class as well as in-person skill practice labs.
- Certificates are issued to student email, at the end of the course (or completion of tests as appropriate). Cost of the certificate is included in the tuition, however there is a $15 fee for paper replacement certificates.
- Accommodation is available to any student with special needs (such as presence of an interpreter or use of an electronic device). To request accommodation, contact the program director at least two weeks prior to class.
- Re-testing for failed or missed tests, when allowed, is $35 for any tests not taken and/or passed on the scheduled date. Re-testing must be completed within 30 days of the course end date to receive emailed course certificate. Re-testing is not allowed for HCA or CNA programs. Appointments are required for all testing.
- Electronic devices, other than those need for virtual class, are not permitted during an in-person class unless approved by the director for an accommodation. Phones are not permitted during testing events.
- Fragrances are not allowed in the training center. Please refrain from perfume or colognes as many individuals are sensitive to respiratory irritants. Anyone wearing fragrance will be required to leave the training center without refund.
- Face Coverings are required throughout the building during the COVID state of emergency. If you can not wear a face covering you will need to reschedule when masks are not longer needed.
- Screening is required before entry to the classroom area. Anyone appearing ill or declining the screen procedure will be required to leave the lobby immediately.
- Appointments are required to enter the classroom area anytime other than for a regularly scheduled skill practice or test event.
- No admittance to virtual class 10 minutes after start of class or anytime during testing as this can interfere with your learning as well as the learning of other students.
- Skill Practice labs close once screening has been completed. No late entry is possible.
- Refunds, tuition is refundable up to 48 hours before the first day of class. Late cancellation, missed classes, no-shows, or late to class is not refundable.
Due to delays in shipping books, registrations must be received a least a week (two is better) before class.
